Looking at the marvelous bridges, it reminded me of this song… It sounded all morning in my head… I think I learned it when I was in the third grade or something like that, from a teacher who came home for my English lesson. Those were really beautiful times… Almost as beautiful as these pictures…

London bridge is the 8th one from the top
Sorry Lisa, the 8th picture from the top is Tower Bridge, not London Bridge. The British sold London Bridge to the Americans, who thought they were buying Tower Bridge!

London Bridge is the 9th picture. I have a picture of myself on the London Bridge.
There is no picture of London Bridge. The first is Westminster Bridge taken from the south bank of the Thames and the other is Tower Bridge taken from the north bank of the Thames. No London Bridge here. Nice pictures though
This is not even a elegantly built collection of photos. Just the better results from a google search for “bridge in night”.
And certainly London bridge does not appear on any of them.

7th I guess is Manhattan.
I don’t see London Bridge. Tower Bridge is the 8th.. which is often mistaken for the London Bridge. Haha, and yes.. the original London Bridge is in Arizona. Ahhh, and there’s my Brooklyn Bridge.. 7th image.

5th pic – Köln….as far as I know, that aint in the UK – but soon it is Xmas market time and we’ll be swamped with Brummies – oh joy!

some of these people are correct; london bridge was sold to america or at least parts of it. it is in arizona!

first of all there is still a London bridge on the Thames
yes we DID sell the old one to the Americans(not because they thought it was tower bridge but because it was for sale) and only as we were building a new modern bridge.
secondly yes the bridges in London look like that “glowing”
AT NIGHT TIME they light the bridges up to make them visible to passing vessels so they don’t …..crash!!! as well as looking nice for photo dumps of bridges.
